Hormone Health

The Good, the Bad & The Ugly

Years back talking about hormones, menopause, erectile dysfunction or anything related was consider a no-no. Kinda like talking about the birds & bees, it was considered private and not to be spoke out of the home. Most young girls havw no idea what to expect when they first experienced their menstruation. They were horrified, ashamed, embarrassed and felt a discount as if something bad happened to them. The fact was they were blossoming into a beautiful young women so that some day they would have the joy of carrying a child, nourishing he/she and then the joy of birth arrived. Although painful the joy surpassed the pain. Holding their child for the first time, carrying the title MOM for the rest of your life.

As we age, so does our body, skin and hair. Our joints ache and bones soften. The production of collagen & peptides slows down. Cellular regeneration declines, and reproduction of hormones declines as well. down and with that we lose muscle mass, discover extra flab that was not their before. Adipose tissue becomes more dense and harder to lose that extra weight we have gained. Our moods change some feel depression, anxiety or both but with preventative care and spending a little extra time on ourselves we can age beautiful, glow bright and feel great. It does not matter what your age is, now is the time to start feeling and looking your best self.

This topic is such a delicate subject for so many women, peri-menopause, menopause, and post menopause and then we have those that have had hysterectomies, which originates from the definition of hysteria. In reality that is how a women feels when they have a drastic change in the hormone department.
